Labor Code - a normative act constituting a set of provisions regulating the rights and obligations covered by an employment relationship in relation to all employees, regardless of the legal basis of their employment (in some cases only to an extent not regulated by specific legislation, e.g. the Civil Service Act) and employers.

The Labor Code raises issues such as: employment relationship, remuneration, employer and employee obligations, working time, holidays, parental rights, employing young people, and occupational health and safety.
